Since, since his 2017 debut, he has amassed over 175 race starts, taken five podiums ¨C two with Alpine ¨C and claimed one Grand Prix victory in which he became the 109th driver to secure a win in Formula One.
In his three seasons for the team, Pierre has claimed three trophies so far. He finished third in the 2023 Sprint Race for the Belgian Grand Prix, third in the Dutch Grand Prix a month later and third in the 2024 S?o Paulo Grand Prix for a memorable double team podium. Pierre signed a contract extension in 2025 and will race for the team until the end of the 2028 season, underlining his commitment to the long-term ambitions of the team as the sport enters its latest regulation era.

Born in Pilar, a city in the northwest of the Buenos Aires Province in Argentina, Franco started his racing career at the age of nine. While karting in his home country, he collected various regional and national titles before making his junior formulae debut in 2018 in the F4 Spanish Championship. A year later, the Argentine driver won his first junior championship, claiming the 2019 F4 Spanish Championship title with 11 wins, 10 pole positions, 10 fastest laps and 13 total podiums across 21 races.
Prior to the 2024 Italian Grand Prix, it was announced that Franco would make his first Formula One race start and would complete the remaining nine rounds of the season with Williams Racing. He scored points in both the Azerbaijan Grand Prix and the United States Grand Prix.
BWT Alpine Formula One Team announced in January 2025 that it had entered into an agreement with Williams Racing to secure the driving services of Franco on a multi-year deal. Franco joined the team as Test and Reserve Driver before being promoted into the full-time race seat in May 2025.
